The University’s New Drive: SunBaeRaMen Scholarship
Ewha Womans University initiated a new fundraising campaign called “SunBaeRaMen,” which means “If you were a graduate...” in Korean. This campaign is designed to help undergraduates. The “SunBae,” which means “graduate,” pledges $10 scholarship (10,000 Korean Won), every month for four years, eventually adding up to $480. As a matching gift from a supporting instant noodle company, the supporter of this scholarship campaign will get a packet of Ra-men noodles which coincides with the name of the fundraiser.

이화여자대학교는 “선배라면 누구나 한 달에 $10 로 후배를 도울 수 있다”라는 취지 하에 소액 장학금 모금 캠페인을 시작하였다. 월 $10씩 4년을 후원하여 총 $480으로 후배를 돕는 선배라면 장학금의 취지에 부응하여 (주)오뚜기식품에서 ‘선배라면’이라는 이름의 라면을 협찬하고 있다. 국제재단에 문의하면 안내를 받을 수 있다.
